About Me

My Story

Growing up in Germany, I was always curious about people and cultures. I wanted to understand how others live and what lies beyond the world I knew.

After completing a master’s in biology, I moved into communication and worked in different sectors (non profit and commercial) and later built a successful career in international marketing within scientific publishing. My work and life took me to different countries and eventually to the Netherlands, where I created a new home, learned the language and built a life with my Dutch partner, family and friends.

I was driven and committed to what I did, developed my career, became Marketing Director for different parts of the world, took on responsibility and led international teams. From the outside, things looked successful. And for a long time, it felt that way too.

But gradually, something began to shift. I noticed a growing distance between what I was doing, who I was and what felt truly meaningful to me. The work that once gave me energy and satisfaction started to feel different.

For quite some time, I pushed that feeling aside and kept going. Until I reached a point where that was no longer possible and I had to acknowledge that I was burned out. That period asked me to slow down and turn inward. To take a closer look at myself, my patterns, limiting beliefs and the way I was living and working. It was tough but also an important turning point. Step by step, I understood more about myself, I made different choices, built healthier habits and reconnected with myself and what really mattered to me.

Looking back, that experience changed how I see both work and life and I am grateful for it.

Today, I bring this experience and perspective into my coaching. I offer a space where you can pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself and explore what is truly right for you. A space where you can gain clarity, let go of what may be holding you back and step more fully into who you want to be as a person, partner or leader.

I care deeply about supporting professionals and leaders to lead themselves with clarity and intention and to shape a way of working and living that truly fits who they are. So they can create sustainable performance and a life that feels meaningful and aligned.

Why work with me

I know first hand the pressure professionals and leaders face today navigating complex organisations, high expectations and constant change with stakeholder dynamics, cultural differences and limited authority. I have been there myself.

My work as a coach is shaped by more than twenty years of experience in international corporate environments and leadership roles.

I bring professional coaching expertise as a Certified Professional Co Active Coach (CPCC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My coaching approach combines proven coaching methodologies with insights from psychology, behavioural science and my background in biology. It is both reflective and practical with the aim to translate insights into new behaviours in your daily work and life.

I have experienced myself how challenging major life transitions can be. This shapes how I work and allows me to meet you with an understanding that comes from both head and heart.
