Authentic Humanity - Courageous Freedom - Curious Growth
I grew up in Germany with a deep curiosity about people, cultures and the world around me. After studying biology, life took me in a different direction than I had imagined. I moved into communications, built an international career in scientific publishing and eventually made the Netherlands my home.
Over the years, I built a life I loved, grew my career, became a Marketing Director and led international teams. From the outside, things looked good. And for a long time, they were.
But somewhere along the way, I began to lose touch with myself.
Work that had once energised me started to feel different. I kept going, taking responsibility and doing what needed to be done, until my body and mind made it clear that I could not simply keep going.
That experience changed me. It forced me to slow down, look inward and ask questions I had not made enough space for before. What actually matters to me? How do I want to live? What gives me energy? And what needs to change?
There was no dramatic reinvention. It was a gradual process of understanding myself better, letting go of old patterns, making more conscious choices and reconnecting with what felt meaningful and true.
Life is not more perfect now. But it is more mine.
Today, I bring that experience, together with many years of leadership, change and working with people, into my coaching. I know how powerful it can be to reconnect with who you are, rather than simply keep becoming who you think you should be.
That is what I care deeply about: helping people find the courage to be more fully themselves and create a life, work and way of leading that genuinely feels like their own.
Background
I bring more than 20 years of international corporate experience, including senior leadership as Marketing Director Europe in the scientific information and analytics sector. I have led international and multicultural teams in matrix organisations, in contexts of constant change, complex stakeholder dynamics and high expectations.

A Bit More About Me
What are people usually surprised about when you tell them?
That I was incredibly shy as a child. Hard to imagine now, perhaps.
What is something you are still figuring out, despite all your experience?
That figuring things out never really stops. And that a day stubbornly continues to have only 24 hours.
What does a perfectly imperfect day look like for you?
Sunny, unplanned and with plenty of space for whatever happens.
What is a small thing that instantly puts you in a good mood?
A spontaneous smile from a stranger in the street.
What can you wake me up for?
Indian food and dancing. Preferably in that order.
What is a passion you still want to make more room for in your life?
Learning to make music. Ideally without being too impatient with myself.
What do you know now that you did not know 20 years ago?
That life happens in the present. The more present I am, the more fully I experience life.
What comes first in the morning, talking or coffee?
Coffee. Definitely coffee.
